Greenwich Police Arrest Suspect In Sexual Assault Of A Juvenile Case
The incident allegedly occurred in 2016.

GREENWICH, CT — A 58-year-old Queens, NY man was extradited from Los Angeles back to Connecticut by Greenwich police Wednesday and arrested in connection with the alleged 2016 sexual assault of a local juvenile, according to officials.
Julio Molineros was apprehended by Los Angeles authorities this week, after Greenwich police contacted the Department of Homeland Security about the suspect.
"We received a tip that he had absconded to California and was at an address in Los Angeles," said Sgt. Brent Reeves, of the Greenwich Police Special Victims Section, on Thursday. Reeves and Greenwich Det. Carlos Franco flew out to Los Angeles to bring Molineros back.

Greenwich police would not discuss details of the case because the victim is a juvenile, but Molineros was charged with:

- Risk of Injury to a Minor
He is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 24.
