Popular Bakery-Café To Open Greenwich Location (patch.com) — Greenwich residents can look forward to Kneads Bakery Café opening two connected spaces at the redeveloped Greenwich train station and along Railroad Avenue by late spring 2027. The popular Westport-based bakery will bring organic, house-milled breads, pastries, and commuter-friendly grab-and-go options, adding to the $30 million Greenwich Crossing project that's modernizing the station area and strengthening links to Greenwich Avenue.
   

2. Resource Foundation Inc. (insidephilanthropy.com) — Local nonprofits in Greenwich are frequent beneficiaries of the low-profile Resource Foundation Inc., which concentrates most of its giving in Greenwich and Fairfield County. Recent grants have supported Family Centers, Greenwich Alliance for Education, Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, Greenwich Emergency Medical Service, Greenwich Land Trust, and more. While the foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals, strong local relationships often lead to recurring support.
   

3. Port Chester businessmen accused of identity theft (westfaironline.com) — A Greenwich resident, contractor Miguel Leon, claims two Port Chester businessmen used his identity to buy vehicles and construction equipment, leaving him with more than $1.5 million in alleged debts. In a Westchester County lawsuit, he accuses them and their companies of fraud, identity theft, and unjust enrichment, and asks the court to void signatures, return equipment, and clear him of responsibility.
   

4. Martha Stewart's new restaurant among nominees for Connecticut's CRAZIES food awards (greenwichtime.com) — Two Greenwich spots, MŌLÌ and Happy Monkey, are among the finalists for Connecticut's 2026 CRAZIES hospitality awards, putting the town's dining scene in the statewide spotlight. The list highlights standout restaurants, hoteliers, and food professionals across Connecticut, with winners to be celebrated at Foxwoods in December and public voting open through November.
