Greenwich Police Warn Residents Of Latest Phone Scam
The Greenwich Police Department is warning residents about the latest phone scam.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department is warning residents about a scam involving callers who purport to be from another police department.
"Greenwich residents are reporting receiving calls from a 'sergeant from the Fairfield Police Department' and they have 'legal documents' that require the Greenwich resident to call them to fix the issue," the GPD said on social media.
Residents should be aware that this is a scam and they should hang up the phone and block the phone number if possible.
