Greenwich Sees Uptick In Car Thefts: Police
Police said there has been an increase in car thefts particularly in the central Greenwich business district area.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department is warning residents about an uptick in car thefts, particularly in the central Greenwich business district.
Lt. Martin O'Reilly of the GPD said thieves are targeting cars that are left unlocked with the keys inside while owners are shopping or dining.
"We urge residents to lock their vehicles and take their keys with them," O'Reilly said. "This should be a common practice no matter where or when a vehicle is parked."
