Town officials have also provided a list of rules for skaters to observe while at the park:
- Social distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained at all times while on the property, including in the parking lot. Guests must immediately leave the property after their visit and are asked not to congregate in the parking lot.
- Everyone must have a cloth face covering or a higher level of protection whenever participants are within the fenced area of the skate park and whenever close contact is unavoidable while using the park facilities outside the fenced area.
- Beginner skaters are required to bring and wear a helmet, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards. More experienced skaters are required to bring and wear a helmet, knee and elbow pads. No borrowing or sharing of equipment is permitted.
- Admission fees are $10 per day or $30 per month. Day and moth passes may be purchased at the park or online at greenwichct.gov before entering the park.
- There will be a limit of eight skaters in the park at a time. If skaters are waiting to come in, those already inside the park will have a two-hour time limit based on their sign in time.
- In addition to the above rules, all other regular skate park rules apply.
Anyone caught in violation of the rules will be asked to leave immediately and may be subject to a loss of skate park privileges for the season, officials said.
