The town-run skate park is located in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Arch Street.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Skatepark on Arch Street, which has been closed for renovations, is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 9 with a celebration scheduled for noon to 4 p.m., the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department announced.

Located in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, the park reopened following the completion of the improvements late last month, and originally opened in 2003.

"After fourteen years of use it was time for the Skate Park to get a face lift," wrote officials in a statement. "The all new cement Skate Park will now allow bikers and scooters as well as skateboarders."
