UPDATE: Greenwich Traffic Alert: All I-95 Lanes Are Reopened; Crash Scene Cleared
Two vehicles, including a truck, were involved in the crash.
Update 10:07 a.m.
Greenwich Fire Department crews have cleared the scene of the two-vehicle crash that closed two southbound lanes of I-95 between Exits 4 and 3 Wednesday morning.
The last crew left at 10:05 a.m. Even though all lanes are open, traffic is backed up to the southbound Darien rest stop between Exits 10 and 9.

It’s not known whether any injuries were reported in the crash that occurred shortly after 9 a.m.

With two heavy duty wreckers on the scene of the crash on southbound I-95 between Exits 4 and 3 in Greenwich, two lanes of the highway are now closed, according to Greenwich Fire Department radio dispatches.
Traffic remains backed up from the scene of the crash that occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday, to Exit 6 in Stamford.

A two-vehicle crash on southbound I-95 has closed one lane of the highway in Greenwich.
The crash, reported at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday, has closed the right lane between exits 4 and 3, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
The Greenwich Police and Fire departments are on the scene. It’s not known how long it will take to clear the scene, or whether there are any injuries.
A check on the DOT highway cameras shows traffic is backed up to Exit 6 in Stamford.
