Greenwich YouTube Star's Thin Appearance Sparks Concern
Eugenia Cooney - and Greenwich police - took to Twitter to tamp down the social media threads.

GREENWICH, CT — The thin appearance of Eugenia Cooney, a YouTube star with a home in Greenwich, recently led to a host of social media comments voicing concern over her thin frame, but Cooney has taken to Twitter to tamp down those concerns. She was even aided in those efforts by Greenwich police over the weekend.
Social media threads about Cooney and her appearance had reached a point that some posters thought the 24-year-old had died, writes the New Haven Register.
Cooney wrote a series of posts on Twitter beginning on Jan. 28 dispelling those rumors, and requesting fans respect her privacy:

Hi guys! I appreciate the concern. I’m taking a break from social media and voluntarily working on this with my doctor privately. Please respect that. pic.twitter.com/Wyqjo16xdH

btw I'm so sorry people make up such crazy stuff, but I am alive and definitely not dead. I was really surprised to hear that was going around about me, but everything is fine!

Hey guys! I've been offline for a while and I'm sooo sorry if I worried anyone! That was not my intention at all. I've just been taken a much needed break from the negativity and having some positive time offline. I'll be back soon! :)
