CT Weather: Michael's Remnants To Bring Heavy Rain, Storms
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook in advance of the remnants of Tropical Storm Michael's arrival.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Southern Connecticut as the remnants of Tropical Storm Michael may cause significant impacts on the area on Thursday.
In a statement released Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service says, "Heavy rainfall may be possible Thursday into Thursday evening as a cold front approaches, and as a tropical moisture plume streams in from the south between offshore high pressure and Michael, expected to be a tropical storm moving through the Southeast states at that time. Any thunderstorms that develop may also become capable of producing some isolated damaging wind gusts in the afternoon."
As for the next two days, the weather service says, it will be "warm and humid weather the next couple of days, with high temperatures about 10 degrees or more above average, and low temperatures right about where highs should be. Outside of some morning drizzle and fog today and Wednesday, mainly dry weather can be expected. A few breaks in the clouds are possible, particularly during the afternoon hours."
