GREENWICH, CT — Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools Dr. Toni Jones on Tuesday announced that Bethany Fuscaldo, director of orchestras at Greenwich High School, has been named as GPS's selection for the 2026 Connecticut Teacher of the Year Program.
"Bethany Fuscaldo has such an encouraging and uplifting approach with her students. She is a master conductor and teacher," Jones said in a prepared statement. "When I observed her in action, it was obvious that her students respect her immensely and that they love being part of her class. It was pure joy listening to her students perform and watching her teach."

Fuscaldo, a music educator with GPS since 2007, currently leads the orchestra program at the high school and serves as a learning facilitator in the music department. She previously taught strings at the elementary level and directed orchestras at Central Middle School.
