GREENWICH, CT —After being closed over the weekend, the Holly Hill Transfer Station reopened on Monday to normal hours of operation, according to First Selectman Fred Camillo.

The facility had been closed over the weekend because of a downed tree and power lines. A storm moved through the area Friday night into Saturday.

"Thanks to Eversource, Patrick Collins of DPW, tree crews, and our GPD for staying on the case so that we did not lose another day of operations," Camillo said in a Facebook post Monday morning.
