Increase of Flu Cases at Greenwich Hospital

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Hospital has seen 18 positive cases of flu since Jan. 1 in its emergency department.

Numbers increased through December started with five cases between Dec. 18 to 22, according to the Greenwich Time.

New York State and Pennsylvania saw widespread flu activityas of Dec. 24, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Connecticut had local activity, but hadn't become widespread.
