Karen Pyne, 50, Active in Greenwich Athletics

Karen Pyne, 50, of Greenwich, passed away on Tuesday, March 12.

Karen was active in the Greenwich athletic community and well-known at the Greenwich YMCA and Equinox.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; son Christopher and daughter Amanda; her parents Jane and Ed Sherman, and her sisters Pam Longo and Sherry Hartigan.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Blanch and Jack Horsman.

Family and friends may visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. Greenwich, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 14.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Karen's memory to the Greenwich Hospital Association, 5 Perry Ridge Rd., Greenwich, CT 06831.
