Greenwich Store Owner Charged with Operating Drug Factory: PD
Police got tips that the owner was actively selling illegal drugs, police said. He was charged with operating a drug factory.
GREENWICH, Conn. - Police arrested the owner of Clouds Vapor Lounge after liquid THC was seized from the North Water Street establishment, according to police.

Police got information that Miguel Rivera, 32, was selling different forms of liquid THC, the active chemical in marijuana, to town residents within the establishment, police said. Liquid THC is extremely potent.

Police conducted a search of the shop on June 6 along with DEA agents and the Stamford Police K-9 unit. Numerous vials of liquid THC were found packaged and ready to sell. Marijuana, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of cocaine were also found.
Rivera, of Greenwich, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a daycare facility, possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a daycare facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory and operating a drug factory (second offense).

Several patrons were already in the establishment when police arrived. A Garwood, N.J., woman was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and was issued an infraction.
