GREENWICH, CT — Marcia O'Kane, the longtime president and CEO of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, recently announced her plans to step down after over 13 years in the position.

In a Chamber email newsletter to the community, O'Kane highlighted several accomplishments over her tenure. She helped reimagine over 300 events, attracted hundreds of new members to the organization, branded "Women Who Matter" events, and supported the local business community through the dark times of the COVID-19 pandemic, among many other achievements.

"It has been a privilege to serve our local business community through these and many other milestones, but it is now time to turn the page and focus on my own entrepreneurial endeavors as I step down from my Chamber position," O'Kane said. "Every day during my tenure I have worked passionately to show everyone that our Chamber matters. I am confident that my goal of being an advocate and connector of local business has been reached. Without a doubt, I have been the biggest cheerleader of our organization and its value."
