Man, 22, Charged In 2020 Greenwich Car Theft: Police

GREENWICH, CT — A Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with a car theft that occurred in Greenwich more than three years ago, according to police.

John Millington, 22, of Waterbury, was charged with first-degree larceny, an arrest report stated. Greenwich police officers went to Clinton, Mass., on Dec. 1 to take custody of Millington, who was given a court-set bond of $150,000.

On Nov. 25, 2020, Greenwich police received a report of a stolen Range Rover, presumably from the overnight hours, from a driveway on Richmond Hill Road, Lt. Ted Latiak of the GPD said.

The car was later recovered in Hartford, and it was searched, fingerprinted and processed for DNA, Latiak said. Millington was developed as a suspect.

Millington was unable to post his bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.
