Man Arrested In Greenwich Following Multi-State Pursuit: Police
Police said the man, who was believed to be armed and dangerous, was wanted in connection with a kidnapping and assault.
GREENWICH, CT — A 39-year-old man wanted in connection with a kidnapping and assault was arrested in Greenwich early Thursday morning after a multi-state pursuit, according to the Greenwich Police Department.
Daniel Patrick Twomey, of Lodi, N.J., was charged in Greenwich with engaging in pursuit and interfering. He was unable to post a $50,000 bond.
Shortly after midnight Thursday, New York authorities notified Greenwich police they had pursued a suspect across state lines into Greenwich, and that the suspect was believed to be armed and dangerous, police said in a news release.

Greenwich officers located the car and engaged the suspect, later identified as Twomey, in another pursuit before losing him in the Cos Cob, North Mianus area, police said.
Twomey was then found parked at the dead end of Lakeview Drive. Police noted he initially refused to comply with orders to exit the car, but after more than an hour, officers persuaded Twomey to surrender, police said.
