Obit: Barbara Roes, Longtime Greenwich Resident

Barbara Roes Brown of Greenwich, CT passed away after a brief illness on April 8, 2017 at Greenwich Hospital.

She was born on December 24, 1933 to William and Alberta Roes in Bronx N.Y. She resided in Greenwich, CT for many years. She leaves behind her three children, Charles D Brown (Tina) of Milford, CT, Melanie A. McDonough (Brian) of Bow, NH and Douglas C. Brown (Kathy) of New Milford, CT, along with her nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Also survived by a sister Virginia VanCott of Farmington Hills, MI. We will gather to celebrate her life on Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Leo P. Gallagher & son funeral home at 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT. Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a service at 1PM. Interment will immediately follow at Putnam Cemetery.
