Connecticut Weather: Odds Change For First Accumulating Snow
We've been talking for days about the chance of Connecticut seeing its first accumulating snow. There are new changes to the forecast.

Top meteorologists are all in agreement Wednesday that the much discussed potential first accumulating snow of the season in Connecticut is trending now to be bust. Sure, we may see some flakes in the air late Friday and during the day on Saturday but currently computer models show that the storm is expected to remain largely off-shore and have minimal to no impact on the state.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said he's downgraded the chance for accumulating snow to a just "1 and 3 shot." He said he'll know more as more data comes in but he added that computer models are all over the place producing a range "from no snow to nuisance snow to plowable snow."
WTNH Meteorologist Kevin Arnone said we'll notice cooler temps beginning on Thursday. He said the weekend storm is "looking more out to sea," and may just produce a "few festive flakes"

Fox 61 Meteorologist Matt Scott said with high temps forecast to be in the upper 30s this weekend it would be hard for any snowflakes that may fall to actually accumulate. He said there's isn't much to worry about at this time.
The National Weather Service still has a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for Hartford and Tolland counties stating, "At this time, odds favor a glancing blow with the potential for minor snow accumulations Friday night into Saturday....It is also possible that the system passes too far east of the region to bring any precipitation to the region at all." No advisories have been issued for southern Connecticut.
