Pedestrian Killed in Greenwich Crash Identified
He worked for many years as a tailor in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — The pedestrian killed in last Monday's fatal crash on West Putnam Avenue has been identified as Jan" John Hytros, 87, of Port Chester.
He was born in Poland and worked at a tailor in Greenwich for many years, according to his obituary.
He is survived by his beloved wife Genowefa, his loving daughter Marta Horecki (Stanislaw), cherished grandchildren Beata Horecki, Veronica Jacobs, Agnes Petrocelli, Alex Fischer, and great-grandchildren Luke Jacobs, Paul and Ella Petrocelli. He was predeceased by his son Bogdan Hytros.

Hytros was crossing West Putnam Avenue at the intersection of Western Junior Highway Feb. 6 when he was struck by a vehicle.
