Registration Opens for Greenwich Spring Soccer Program
The Parks and Recreation Department's programs are for children ages 3 to 12.
In-person registration for the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department’s spring Mighty Mites Soccer and Soccer with Aldwin will begin on Monday, March 9.
The registration deadline is Friday, April 10 or when the programs are filled.
Mighty Mites is a co-ed program for children for ages 3 – 12 years that focuses on the fundamentals of soccer including passing, dribbling, trapping and shooting through practice and games. Participants must be age 3 prior to the start of the program on April 25. There is an additional section for ages 9 through 12 with instruction and games coordinated by Aldwin St. George and staff. Mighty Mites will take place on Saturdays from April 25 until June 6 at the Havemeyer Fields located behind Greenwich Town Hall. Volunteer coaches will be needed for ages 3 through 9. Interested volunteers can sign-up to coach on the registration form.

Spring Soccer with Aldwin is a weekly co-ed clinic for children ages 4 to 12. This clinic will focus on all game fundamentals. Each session includes 20 minutes of skill work through drills followed by games. Participants will have an opportunity to play on a different team each week. The eight-week program begins April 6 and ends May 29 on either Mondays or Fridays at Loughlin Avenue Field from 4:10 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.
Registration forms are available in the Recreation Office at Town Hall and online at www.greenwichct.org: click on Parks and Recreation and then youth programs under Recreation.
