Rose Catherine Albeke, Long-time Cos Cob Resident

Rose Catherine Albeke, a long time resident of Cos Cob, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014.

Rose was an exceptional mother and much beloved wife, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Rose is survived by her two daughters, Irene Mann and Mary Taylor; her three grandchildren, Jill Einsmann, (Philip), Sean W. Taylor and Rebecca Mann; as well as her three beautiful great-grandchildren Kelsey Rose, Sara Rose, Dora Rose, and her brother Joseph Franchella.

Her husband Walter G. Albeke passed in January 2006 - they have now been reunited. Rose was pre-deceased by her five sisters, brother and son-in-law.

All services will be private at Rose’s request.
