Sentencing Delayed For Greenwich Man In Fatal Hit-And-Run: Report
Andrew Schmidt was scheduled to be sentenced in connection with the crash that killed

GREENWICH, CT — Sentencing for Andrew Schmidt, the 19-year-old Greenwich man responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash, was delayed to Dec. 11, reports News 12's Marissa Alter.
The sentencing was postponed due to undisclosed legal issues, writes the Greenwich Time.
Schmidt, who was driving on West Putnam Avenue near Hillside Road in April 2016, struck and killed 43-year-old Edward Setterberg.

Setterberg was out for an evening walk at the time, and Schmidt fled the scene after the crash; he was arrested months later following an investigation.
Under a plea deal, Schmidt was slated to receive a sentence of one to three years in prison, in addition to five years of probation.
