Severe Flooding Reported In Greenwich Saturday: Police
A Saturday Nor'easter has led to flooding and power outages throughout Connecticut.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Point has been closed until further notice on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 27, due to severe flooding in Greenwich from a Nor'easter that has hit Connecticut, according to police.
"High tide will be at 2 PM however the storm is pushing water into low lying areas and flooding has all ready occurred," wrote Greenwich police in a statement. "Residents are asked to avoid low lying areas and stay indoors."
Greenwich emergency services are working to minimize the danger to the public, according to officials, and residents are asked not to enter flooded areas, and to "be watchful for falling branches, and avoid downed power lines."
