Spirit Zone Cheerleading and Gymnastics Opens New Facility in Byram

, a cheerleading and gymnastics training center based out of Hamden, has opened a new facility at 222 Mill Street in Byram.
The new “Spirit Too” location, which opened Sept. 6, offers tumbling classes, stunt clinics, cheer skills classes, All-Star competitive cheer teams, open gym time, birthday parties, toddler/preschool gymnastics, coaching clinics, and more.
According to a release, Spirit Zone trains more than 2,000 youth and high school cheerleaders and teams each year.

The new facility will be run by Anne Aguiar Asta, former head cheerleading coach at Liberty All-Stars, as well as co-coach of the Senior Stars team. She has been coaching cheerleading for the past nine years at the youth and All Star levels.
As per the release, the new location sports a 42’x42’ cheer floor, a 6’x42’ tumbling strip, an air track, spotting equipment and “Connecticut’s most elite and experienced cheer and tumbling staff.” For a brochure of classes, click here.
