Surveillance Cameras Installed At Tod's Point Gatehouse In Greenwich: Report

The cameras are similar to ones that have been installed at Greenwich High School.

GREENWICH, CT — To improve safety and security at the beach, Greenwich officials have installed four surveillance cameras around the entrance gatehouse at Greenwich Point Park (aka Tod's Point), reports the Greenwich Free Press.

The cameras will give the town better visuals of who is coming and going at the point, especially during evening hours which are popular with people who want to sneak into the facility, Jeff Freidag, the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Superintendent of Marine Facilities & Operations, told the publication.

The cameras are located at various spots near the entrance and exit to the park, including on the gatehouse itself, and they are similar to ones that have been installed at Greenwich High School.
