Two Women Injured In Single-Car Accident: Greenwich Police
Police said a 69-year-old driver and an 85-year-old passenger were injured in a car accident in Greenwich on Wednesday.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department is investigating a single-car accident that injured two women on Wednesday afternoon within the Putnam Park apartment complex.
Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the GPD said officers, along with the Greenwich Fire Department and Greenwich Emergency Medical Services personnel, responded to the apartment complex which is at the corner of Route 1 and Milbank Avenue around 3:13 p.m. on Wednesday. A car had crashed into a building in the complex.
Zuccerella said a 69-year-old female driver and an 85-year-old female passenger were both taken to Stamford Hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with "no immediate life-threatening injuries."

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time, Zuccerella said.
