The rankings highlight the enormous concentration of wealth in Greenwich, from Steve Cohen and Ray Dalio to business leaders behind firms like QXO and AQR Capital Management.
   

2. 2 Juveniles Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Crashes During Pursuit: Greenwich Police (patch.com) — An overnight police pursuit in north Greenwich ended with a stolen Honda crashing into a utility pole and two juveniles taken into custody after a search using drones and K-9 units. Greenwich police say the Honda was stolen from Bethel, linked it to another theft in Newtown, and are urging local residents to lock vehicles and remove keys to deter similar crimes.
   

3. Several Business Cited In Alcohol, Tobacco Compliance Checks: Greenwich Police (patch.com) — Greenwich police recently cited several East Putnam Avenue gas stations and a vape shop after surprise checks found violations of laws barring tobacco and alcohol sales to people under 21. Officers, working with the Greenwich Together Prevention Council, say these inspections aim to curb youth access and are reminding all local retailers to carefully verify customer IDs.
   

4. Connecticut to Seek FEMA Funds after Sunday Storm (greenwichfreepress.com) — If your Greenwich home or property was damaged in last Sunday's flooding, town officials need you to report it online now so Connecticut can qualify for potential FEMA disaster aid. Greenwich Emergency Management is partnering with the state to collect self-reported damage data, which will determine whether federal post-disaster assistance becomes available to local residents.
   

5. 'We feel stuck': Fairfield homeowner says floods have made selling impossible (greenwichtime.com) — Greenwich was among several Fairfield County towns that saw 4 to 6 inches of rain during a recent intense storm, part of a highly localized deluge that flooded homes and knocked out power. Fairfield officials describe millions in ongoing Rooster River flood-mitigation projects and promise better emergency alerts, while residents question whether planned detention basins and dredging will meaningfully reduce future flooding.
