GREENWICH/STAMFORD, CT — Urgent Care visits have been temporarily suspended at Westmed facilities in Greenwich and Stamford after a provider who practices at the company's White Plains, N.Y., office was diagnosed with the new Coronavirus, the Greenwich Time reports.

According to the Greenwich Time, the suspension is intended to allow Westmed to support its offices that receive more patients and provide appropriate triage. Westmed officials said the provider has been self-quarantined since he was notified of the possible exposure and before he showed any symptoms.

According to their website, Westmed Urgent Care currently is not accepting walk-ins. Patients are asked to book ahead for urgent care at westmedgroup.com/savemyspot.
