Clinton Man Accused of Writing Racist Word in Groton Bathroom
A Groton city employee reported the vandalism to police.

Police arrested a Clinton man on Wednesday for writing a racist word in the men’s bathroom stall in the Groton City Municipal Building, the Day of New London reports.
According to the paper, the stall has since been cleaned.
Brandon Schuff, 32, was charged with intimidation based on third-degree bigotry or bias, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief, the paper reports. After receiving a complaint at around 11 a.m., police investigated and identified Schuff as the perpetrator.

Schuff was released on a $5,000 bond and will appear in New London Superior Court in Dec. 31.
