Groton Police Urge People To Report Medical Emergencies

Police said there have been cases of people hesitating to call 911 due to the pandemic.

GROTON, CT — Groton Police recently issued a statement urging anyone with a medical emergency to seek assistance.

"We have learned that during COVID-19, some individuals who have experienced medical issues have been reluctant to call 911 resulting in catastrophic consequences. Please, if you or someone you love is experiencing a medical emergency call 911, don't wait until it's too late to call."
