Over 400 Without Power In Groton: Eversource

GROTON, CT — Though the worst parts of Friday's nor'easter aren't expected until later, over 400 are already without power in Groton. Connecticut is currently in the midst of a powerful storm, which has left over 4,000 residents around the state without power.

As of 1 p.m. on Friday, approximately 470 customers in Groton are without power, according to Eversource. This number represents approximately 8 percent of the 5,576 customers served there.

Over 10,000 residents and businesses around the state were without power as of the early afternoon, and the worst of the storm is yet to come.
