Teens Perched on Railroad Bridge in Groton Shut Down Train Service
Firefighters were called to the scene due to the location where the teens were stranded.

GROTON, CT - A trio of teenagers perched on the railroad bridge spanning the Thames River temporarily shut down train service Thursday afternoon as firefighters worked to rescue them.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred at about 3:20 p.m., reports The Day. Amtrak train service was disrupted for about an hour.
Firefighters were called to the scene due to the location where the teens were stranded, which was about 40 feet in the air.
