2 More Coronavirus Cases At Guilford High School: Superintendent

The two new positive cases of COVID-19 in Guilford schools, these at the high school, are the fifth and sixth in the district.

GUILFORD, CT — There are two more COVID-19 cases in Guilford schools, brining the total number of positive cases to 6.

Schools superintendent Dr. Paul Freeman confirmed for Patch that the district was notified about a case Wednesday, and another one on Thursday, at Guilford High School.

Freeman said contract tracing by the Guilford Health Department identified a "small number of students" as having had close contact with the student who tested positive yesterday. No staff or faculty have been identified as "close contacts," he said.
