4 People Rescued By Guilford Fire Department

The Guilford Fire Department rescued four people after their boat was in "distress" Friday afternoon.

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Fire Department rescued four people after their boat was in "distress" Friday afternoon.

At 1:13 p.m. fire crews responded to a "vessel in distress. There were four people that were rescued from the water and are now safe back at the Guilford Town Docks," said Assistant Chief Michael Shove.

No other details were immediately available.
