• Guilford Newcomers & Neighbors, The Guilford Foundation Donate Over $2K To Support Student Meals (patch.com) — Guilford Newcomers & Neighbors and The Guilford Foundation have donated $2,717 to Guilford Public Schools to help cover meal costs for students whose families don't qualify for free or reduced-price lunch but still struggle. The independently funded dining services department says the support fills a real gap, and organizers hope the effort inspires more community-driven help for local families.
   

• Large Industrial Facility Sold For Over $10 Million In Guilford (patch.com) — A 123,000-square-foot industrial facility at 385 Long Hill Road in Guilford has been sold to Goodwill Industries of Southern New England for about $10.8 million. The longtime home of safety-products supplier The Safety Zone will now support Goodwill's operations, signaling a continued nonprofit presence and potential employment and service opportunities for Guilford and surrounding communities.
   

• No. 10 Fairfield Ludlowe football rides fourth-down success to win over West Haven (greenwichtime.com) — Fairfield Ludlowe stayed undefeated with a 41-19 win over West Haven, repeatedly converting on fourth down behind quarterback Ryan Love's three-touchdown performance. For Guilford fans, the key takeaway is that West Haven, now 1-3, will host Guilford next Friday at 6 p.m., setting up a matchup against a team that just faced one of the state's hottest offenses.
