Amateur Radio ("Ham Radio") gets the message through for your family and communitiy during times of emergency.

When normal communication systems fail (or are overloaded) due to Hurricanes, Floods, Tornadoes, Snow/Ice storms, or Man-Made events (e.g. 9/11/01), trained and federally licensed Amateur Radio Operators are able to make a difference and quickly provide needed communications.
