Former NBA Player to Visit Guilford and Deliver a Powerful Talk

Residents are asked to wear purple to support him.

Shared by the Town of Guilford on Facebook:

On Monday, March 23, 2015, at 7:00 pm, Guilford DAY will host former NBA player Chris Herren at Guilford High School Gym, 605 New England Road.

Mr. Herren struggled with substance abuse for much of his basketball career while playing for the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets. In recovery since 2008, Mr. Herren has since dedicated his life to helping young people avoid or return from the path of addiction. He is an extraordinary speaker, with a powerful story appropriate for a middle or high school age audience.
