Guilford Schools Calendar: Must-Know Dates for Winter 2016-17

GUILFORD, CT — We're getting closer to the midpoint of the school year somehow even though it feels like school just began. With that in mind, we wanted to share with you some important dates for the remainder of the year beginning with the upcoming holiday break.

Here are important dates for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year in the Guilford Public School System.

Winter break: Dec-26 to Jan. 2 (school resumes Jan. 3)

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 16

Early Dismissal: Jan. 25

Presidents Day/ Winter Break (school closed): Feb. 20. 21

No School Students: March 10

Early Dismissal: March 22

Spring Break: April 10-14, which includes Good Friday

Early Dismissal: April 26

No School Students: May 12

Early Dismissal: May 24

Memorial Day (school closed): May 29

Early Dismissal: June 12

Last day of school: June 13

Emergency Closing Make-up Days

June 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 (In case of extenuating circumstances, other calendar adjustments may be made (i.e. April vacation)
