• Guilford Police To Host 'National Night Out' Event (patch.com) — Families in Guilford can look forward to the 2026 National Night Out on the Guilford Green this October, hosted by the local police department to build stronger community ties. The free evening will include music, food trucks, games, inflatables, and chances to meet Guilford officers and other town representatives, with local businesses invited to host information tables at no cost. 
• Guilford High School Among Top 40 In CT: U.S. News & World Report (patch.com) — Guilford High School has been ranked No. 36 in Connecticut and 1,702nd nationally by U.S. News & World Report for 2026–27, with a strong overall score of 90.52. The ranking reflects GHS's performance on college readiness, state tests, graduation rates, and support for underserved students, using data from the 2023–24 school year.
