2 Alarm Fire displaces 9 people from Multi Unit Condo Complex

Hamden Firefighters along with Hamden Volunteer Firefighters and Hamden CERT Members battled a 2 Alarm Fire at a multi-unit condo complex on Thursday evening. Hamden CERT provided a wide variety of logistical support that included; rehab,(cold & warm beverages) perimeter security, assist Red Cross and management of icy conditions on sidewalks and parking areas due to master stream applications. Operations were completed after 5 hours on scene. A total of 9 residents from 4 units were displaced but fortunately, there were no civilian or firefighter injuries.
