Student Extricated, Hospitalized After Crash At Quinnipiac
The crash occurred in a parking lot at Quinnipiac University.

HAMDEN, CT — A Quinnipiac student was hospitalized after being extricated from a vehicle following a crash in the parking lot on main campus at 275 Mt. Carmel Avenue, according to Hamden Police. At about 11 a.m. on Nov. 14, Hamden Police responded to Quinnipiac University, “Hill Top” parking lot, on the report of a motor vehicle accident, involving a rollover, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said a preliminary investigation revealed that two vehicles collided in the parking lot and one rolled over “temporarily trapping the operator inside.” The Hamden Fire Department responded and extricated the female operator. She is a student at Quinnipiac University. She was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with minor injuries, according to Smith.
Officer David Falcigno of the Hamden Police Department Traffic Division is conducting the investigation.
