2 Hospitalized After Kitchen Fire In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — Two people were hospitalized after a kitchen fire Tuesday morning in Hamden, according to officials.

Crews from Platoon 1 responded to the fire on Chester Street, and it was quickly knocked by first-arriving personnel, officials said.

Two residents were taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation from smoke inhalation, according to officials.

The Hamden Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. No firefighter injuries were reported.
