2 Found Shot In Parking Lot Of Local Eatery: Hamden Police

BREAKING: Police are investigating the early morning double-shooting.

HAMDEN, CT — Two people were shot in the parking lot of a local eatery early Sunday, police said. Police are investigating and searching for the suspect(s).

Police said at 2 a.m. Hamden Police responded to “Off the Hook,” at 940 Dixwell Avenue on the report of “shots fired.” Police found a gunshot victim, a 23-year-old Hamden resident, in the parking lot. The victim was shot in the thigh.

Shortly thereafter, a second victim, a 27 year-old New Haven resident, was found lying in front of the establishment, with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. Both victims were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for medical treatment. The Hamden Police Department Detective Division is conducting the investigation.
