Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By Hamden and Branford Police
Police say the suspect is wanted in both Hamden and Branford for suspected armed robberies.

BRANFORD, CT — Branford Police are searching for Johnny Doward, 55, of Victor Drive in New Haven, who is wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at a local motel, police said.
Branford Police hold an active arrest warrant for Doward for first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny with a $250,000 court-set bond, police said. This is in connection with a March 9, armed robbery of a local motel in Branford, police said.
Hamden Police also hold their own active arrest warrant for Doward for another armed robbery of a Hamden motel, police said. This Hamden robbery took place on March 16 and the Court Set Bond for this arrest warrant is $250,000 as well, police said.

Johnny Doward is a black male, approximately 5'6" tall, police said. He was wearing a black zip up hoodie, black knit hat, red puma sneakers and glasses at the time of the Branford robbery, police said.
