Bullets Enter Home After Shooting In Hamden: Police

Police are investigating after two bullets entered a home during a shooting Monday night in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are investigating after two bullets entered a home on Easton Street during a shooting Monday night in Hamden. At about 8:15 p.m. on May 27, police responded to Bowen Street on the report of “shots fired,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith. Residents told police they saw a man standing in a nearby driveway with a gun.

“Investigation revealed that multiple gunshots were fired,” Smith said in a press release. “Officers canvassed the area and ascertained that two bullets had entered a home on Easton Street. Fortunately, the residents were in the backyard at the time of the shooting.”
