Burning Wires Close Road, Knock out Power in Hamden: Fire Department

HAMDEN, CT — Emergency crews are on the scene in the area of Mix Avenue and Skiff Street in Hamden for “live primary wires burning,” according to the fire department.

The area is closed to traffic and is without power, the fire department posted on Twitter around 11 a.m.

Both the Hamden Fire and Police departments are on the scene, along with United Illuminating.
