Cops & Culture Event To Take Place In Hamden
Police hope the event inspires tolerance and understanding of multi-cultural communities and acts as a true "bridging the gap" event for all

HAMDEN, CT — (From the Hamden Police Department): On Oct. 29, the Hamden Police Department will join the Connecticut Federal Bureau of Investigation, Connecticut State Police and Quinnipiac University as they honor and highlight members of law enforcement from across the state. These officers are first generation immigrants in the United States from around the globe that have chosen public service.
This educational, yet fun forum is designed to enlighten both youth and adults on the diversity within the Connecticut law enforcement community. This event will also hope to inspire tolerance and understanding of multi-cultural communities and act as a true “bridging the gap” event for all.
This event is open to the public. It will be held at Quinnipiac University (Burt Kahn Gymnasium), 275 Mt. Carmel Avenue, Hamden. The event will commence at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
