Dunkin’ Donuts Robbed In Hamden: Police

Police are asking for help with identifying the suspect.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of robbing a Dunkin’ Donuts in Hamden on Tuesday morning. Police responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 1950 State St. at about 8 a.m. on the report of a robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said a suspect, described as a “dark-skinned Hispanic male,” 5-feet, 6-inches tall with a “scruffy moustache/beard” and wearing a sweatshirt and jeans entered the business and waited in line. He subsequently handed the cashier a note indicating that he wanted “the money” and that he had “a gun,” according to Smith.

The cashier handed him an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect was last seen entering a white minivan, Smith said.
