“For years, Hamden has been saddled by shortsighted politicians who’ve all but lost the motivation to get things done in Hartford,” Elliott said. “And that inability to get things done has Hartford gridlocked on issues that directly impact our wallets and our livelihoods. This means an increase in our property taxes and healthcare cuts for our residents. It’s time for new ideas & new energy to move our economy forward in Hamden. I'm looking forward to seeing voters at the polls on August 9th.”

As state representative, Josh has pledged to fight to raise the minimum wage, tackle the state budgets that are devastating state employees and working families year after year, and pass a statewide paid family and medical leave.
